A lesser known part of digital marketing is Conversation Rate Optimisation (CRO). Broadly speaking, this is the process of using certain tools and approaches to determine everything from the best layout for a website to the right colours.
If your website has a poor conversion rate, e.g. for every 100 people that add an item to their basket, you see 1 sale, then there is something holding your customers back from taking the plunge. That's where I come in.
This won’t be applicable to many smaller businesses, but as your business grows it’s essential. Afterall, if you can make an extra 2-3% on your website just by tweaking the colours or layout – something you already have, then why wouldn’t you? How do you know that the buy button is in the right place at the moment? For larger businesses, you could be talking anything from having your holiday paid for to an extra few million.
For example, Google is always running tests on its suite of products. Did you ever wonder how they landed on the shade of blue they use on their search results page? Well they ran tests on the exact shade of blue to use. A test that made them an extra $200 million.
Ok so that’s not necessarily going to be you just yet and that is an extreme example - afterall they have millions of visitors every single day. But I can help you optimise your website when the time comes.
